Welcome

Hi, my name is Peter Gilkes, and that's a picture of me to the left. I am standing on the beach where I live in La Chucha, Granada, Spain. I retired here shortly after my sixtieth birthday, just over seven years ago; however, as I hope you will see, I am still actively using my skills as a web developer.

I have an idylic lifestyle; I live in a beautiful villa with it's own pool, and it's 50 feet from my front gate to the beach. I am surrounded by beautiful countryside and enjoy long walks up and down the steep hills that abound.

My day usually starts about 4 a.m. and the first thing I do is switch on my computer. I will then sit at my desk for most of the day working on web design projects etc.

In the past I have worked for a number of major companies as a contractor, and I am now available to work on any ongoing or up and coming projects you might have that require my skills.

A quick glance at my CV will show you that I have skills other than just in the web development area. That aside, I thought it would be a good idea to show you rather than just tell you what I can do; hence the additional pages
